Prolepha Research B.V. offers a broad portfolio of generic prescription medication. These medicines are prescribed to the patient by a doctor or specialist. A generic drug is the therapeutic equivalent of an original pharmaceutical product, the patent of which has expired. It contains the same active ingredients as the original and is equivalent and therefore interchangeable with the speciality product. It is an effective alternative to the usually much higher-priced branded medicine. Ultimately, the lower price of a generic benefits the patient.
